PMP Certification

In addition to documented real-world project management experience, the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification requires classroom training. To satisfy this requirement I enrolled in an online PMP training class offered by Gatlin Education Services through IPFW's Department of Continuing Education. This class guides you through the concepts of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK). In addition to this class I also read several self-study books.

Web Design Certification - IPFW

The web design certification was offered through IPFW's Department of Continuing Education. This was a series of classes on HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Flash. The certification culminated in a final project designed to demonstrate the key principles taught in each class. I later followed up this certification with classes in advanced HTML and advanced Flash.

RPG ILE Certification - COMMON

The RPG ILE developer certification was offered through COMMON. It is designed to test for a detailed understanding of the RPG programming language, ILE concepts, and embedded SQL within RPG code.
